Edit Job Post
Editing a job post allows updating job details, requirements, and competencies to better match hiring needs.
Step 1: View Job Post
Click on the View next to the job post to edit.
Note: Job Post with status Published cannot be edited, only Submitted and Draft job post status can be edited.
Step 2: Job Post Details
You will be at the Job Post Detail page.
Step 3: Job Post Edit
Click Edit.
Step 4: Job Post Edit Confirmation
Note: This popup only appears when editing a Job Post that is Submitted
Click Proceed to continue editing on the confirmation popup
Step 5: Job Post Status Revert
Note: This occurs when editing a Job Post that is Submitted
The status of the job post would be updated to Draft on the dashboard
Step 6: View Reverted Job Post Draft
Click on View next to job post to edit.
Step 7 Edit Reverted Job Post Draft
Click Edit.
Step 8: Job Post Edit Form
Edit the required information:
If your Applicant Type is Both (Public & In-Service Applicants)
- You can edit:
- Job Title
- Trainees to Hire
- In-Service Applicants
- Job Overview
- Skills Required
- Job Requirements
- Mandatory Clearance Checks (optional)
If your Applicant Type is In-Service Applicants Only
- You can edit:
- Job Title
- Job Overview
- Job Requirements
- Mandatory Clearance Checks (optional)
Tips
- Plan all necessary changes before starting the edit process to minimize review cycles
- Document reasons for changes to maintain internal records and justify modifications
- Review competency percentages carefully as mathematical errors are common
- Consider market changes and organizational needs when updating job requirements
- Save important information locally before editing in case of system issues
- ⚠️ Editing submitted posts resets approval status - avoid unnecessary modifications close to hiring deadlines
Step 7: Edit List of Competencies(LOC) Form
Edit the List of Competencies(LOC) Criteria Form if required.
Note: Ensure percentage of competencies is achieved for critieria to be met.
Step 8: Review Job Post
Review Job Post and ensure all information is correct.
Click Submit once you are satisifed.
Step 9: Job Post Submission
Click Confirm on the popup to confirm Job Post Submission.
Step 10: Submission Successful
Job post is submitted succesfully.
You will have to wait for your job post to be reviewed and approved again.
Once Submitted:
- Your job post will be under review.
- You will be provided options to be redirected to your Job Posting or the Create Job Post section.
